Adventures in Babysitting!!

Well I am getting everything ready so that within an hour or two we can embark on our weekend trip...However this is no ordinary trip lol....My hubby and I are doing a test run to see what it will be like when we have a baby....you are probably confused at this point right lol!!

Well hubby and I are taking our 15 month old neice as well as our three dachshunds to tallahassee this weekend for my best friend's daughters 1st birthday!!! While my neice is very good, this should be an interesting weekend :)

I will definately report back on Sunday when we return on how the weekend turned out!

Creation Deprivation

So I feel like I have not been able to craft and create anything new in awhile!! I have made some new candles and soy tarts but what I really want to do is get my craft room reorganized and get my sewing machine out of the bag!!! I want to sew something and I want to work on my bookmarks that I got all my supplies for. I made a few samples a couple weeks ago but they didnt turn out the way I wanted and my lamination machine less than thrilled me. So I had this brillant idea to try laminating them at work that uses heat to laminate, however I have not had time to make any new bookmarks to try that out on!!!

The weekends seem to fly by and I barely feel like I get the minimum of house chores done that I need to, so crafting always falls to the end of the list. Oh how I wish I could have a week off to create and read some of my many books that I just bought at Barnes and Noble. Did I forget to mention that I have a book fetish!! I usually have to restrain myself from going to the book store too often, so I usually only make my way when James Patterson comes out with a new book, well 7th Heaven came out so I had to go. Well I ended up walking out with like 8 books lol....I always scavenge the clearance section to see what interesting books I can find!! And its not like I have a ton of time to read but I love it!! So I buy these books in hopes that one day I will find the time to read them : ) Here is my stack of purchases-- these are not all for me though one is my friends baby's first birthday and the two irish books are for my Grandpa's birthday in March! The rest are all mine hehe!!

My 30th Sale!!!

My goal for 2008 was to hit 100 sales by the end of the year....And today I hit 30 sales.....my 30th sale was made by MondrysYknotShop!!

Mondrys shop owner Jennifer has been "crafting since before she knew what crafting was".

Her favorite craft is sewing and she has many great sewn items in her shop like these pictured below:

Frames are Done!!!

Ok well over the weekend I showed the frames that I had in process and they are now complete! I really hope that our friends and family enjoy them!!

New Listings!!!

Well I finally got my chocolate soy candles photographed and listed today!! I was inspired to make chocolate candles when I found a Godiva mug and a Hershey glass when I was hunting at the Salvation Army and Goodwill. This week I finally received my chocolate supreme fragrance oil so that I could make them!! While I was hoping for a darker brown, I think the candles came out great and they smell like tootsie rolls according to my husband!!

Hannah's 2nd Birthday!!

Well yesterday we took my neice to my old college roommate's birthday party!!! As I was looking at all my pics I noticed that they were all of my neice and none of the birthday girl...oopss lol!!! So here is a little slideshow from yesterday's events!!
