Inventory Blowout Sale

Well now that I am trying to get back into a routine I want to start working on my shop again! I want to redesign my product packaging!! So in order to do that I need to deplete all the inventory that I have made! Which is a great thing for all you candle lovers!!

Long Time No Post....

I know it has been forever since I posted anything but having a new baby and adjusting my life to this new addition has taken some time to get used to :) So, I decided that instead of posting all my family stuff on here that I would start a site just for that kinda stuff---I was going to make another blog but then I came across this website TotSites and thought this would be so cute to start for Fionna----so here is the link to check it out!!

BTW I also plan on attempting to put more time into my ETSY shop soon as well!! I am going to kick off my comeback with a BIG SALE to clear out old inventory and then I am going to revamp my shop---so stay tuned!!!

One Month Old!!!

Its hard to believe that Fionna is over a month old now!!! I know tomorrow she will technically be 5 weeks but I am just now getting to post her One Month Update after her checkup today!!

I still have yet to send out my baby announcements and other photos that we had taken professionally at the hospital---I must get them out this weekend! My husband keeps nagging me that we spent all that money and I haven't shared them with anyone yet. Even though I am home all day with Fionna I am not sure where the days go---I always have a To Do List and yet I never seem to finish that list!

Fionna Ann at her One Month Checkup is now 10 pounds 3 ounces and 22 1/4 inches.

Here Fionna is at One Month Old!!!



She is now gaining weight like a champ eating her formula and breast milk.

I have 7 more weeks of my maternity leave and then I go back to work and it will be Henry's time to stay home with Little Miss Fionna. I will be working 3 days a week (we only work 4 days and I will be working from home one day a week) so that Henry can work 2 days a week. This should work out well and it will keep Fionna out of daycare till she is at least 6 months old if not a little bit older, which is great because when I got pregnant I was worried that she would have to go to daycare at like 6-8 weeks old!!!

Fionna's First Week at Home

Here are some random pictures of Fionna's first week at home!!! Things for the first time parents are going pretty well, although we will have to make adjustments to our routine as Daddy goes back to work this week and I am on my own :(

Introducing Fionna Ann Kunce!!

Henry and I welcomed our first child Fionna Ann Kunce at 3:06 pm on January 2nd, 2009 via C-section. We have both fallen in love with her and are loving every minute of parenthood!!

A New Year and still pregnant.....

Well it is now 2009 and I am still pregnant.....everyone thought she would come by Christmas but now that and New Years has come and gone.....Tomorrow I will go to the OB for my next checkup and I am curious to see where we are at and what their plan for me is!!! I am getting exponentially bigger by the day lol---which means only one thing Fionna is growing quite rapidly! Here is a picture of me at 37 weeks and 38 weeks boy is there a difference!!! Well I am off to rest I will write later!!

Taking my neice to see Santa....

She was sooo excited all through the line to get to see Santa and then when it was her turn she didn't want to go near him!! With a little coaxing we were able to get some decent shots :)






Next year Henry and I will be taking Fionna to see Santa, I cannot wait to see how she will react to her first "Santa" experience!!

Hubby's Fine Handiwork

Well the final stages of getting ready for Fionna's arrival have begun. Tonight Hubby put together his FIRST but definately not his last piece of baby furniture :) Here is a picture of Fionna's cradle!!!



As her due date approaches and the more uncomfortable I get I am reminded that in a few short weeks our lives will forever change and we cannot wait!!!

Almost 33 weeks!!

On Friday I will be 33 weeks along---today I had my weekly checkup which was the same ol routine except for the fact that they wanted to do an ultrasound to check Fionna's growth....Well our little angel is already weighing in at 5 lbs 6 oz (that puts her in the 82% percentile for size). The average range for a baby at her gestation is anywhere from 4 lbs to 4 lbs 10 oz. So she is well on her way to being a LARGE healthy baby!! I am told that this is normal for babies whose mom has Gestational Diabetes and not to worry and that there is nothing that I can do to control her growth! The normal baby gains about 1/2 lb a week at this point so I am guessing at a minimum if Fionna goes to full term she will be around 9 lbs, most likely she will be bigger than that though. I am told they will do another ultrasound around 37-38 weeks to check her growth once again because once they get near the 9 lb range then we will have to discuss the risks of a vaginal birth versus a c-section.

But other than that I got a clean bill of health and clearance to travel this weekend so Hubby, I, and our 3 miniature dachshunds will be traveling to Miami for the Thanksgiving holiday as well as my 2nd baby shower :)

60 days and counting down!!

Wow only 60 days to go until Fionna's due date.....I can still remember when 9 months seemed so far away now the nerves are setting in because I know the big day is right around the corner!!!!

Yesterday was my 27th birthday and as something fun to do we scheduled our 4D ultrasound for yesterday!! Here are some shots of little Miss Fionna as well as my ever expanding belly at 31 weeks!!!

Nursery Work and Nesting....

While I cannot do much physical work, like getting the painting and the nursery ready for me to organize it, I have started nesting in other parts of the house! So this afternoon while hubby got the help of his friend to put up the crown molding in the nursery, I worked on pulling everything out of the linen and tolietry closets and re-organizing them from top to bottom!!!

Belly is really growing now!!

Today was Hubbby and I's 2nd Wedding Anniversary, so to celebrate we went to dinner at Salt Rock Grill and then for a walk on the beach in front of the hotel where we were married!!

Parents In Training...

Hubby and I are learning to take advantage of babysitting our niece as practice for the upcoming arrival of our baby girl! This weekend we took Joselyn to the Florida Aquarium...here are a few pictures!!

Working on the To Do List...

Well Hubby and I are trying to whittle away the to do list before Fionna Ann arrives.....this week Henry along with the help of my step dad, were able to get the new shelving up in her closet. Then that left me free to hang up all of the clothes that I have gotten for her :) Well the bottom row is everything that I have bought, and the top row is stuff that was handed down to Fionna from her older cousin Joselyn!!

Here is a pic of the closet!!! (Don't mind the paint color--- we bought the purple paint for the nursery but that is a project for next weekend when we return from Miami visiting my in-laws!!!)

Anniversary Coming Up

Well my 2nd anniversary is around the corner and with Fionna coming it is consuming all of our time, I want to do something special for my hubby but money is tight so I have to get creative :) I want to start/finish the wedding scrapbook that I intended on making 2 years ago but I am not sure that I will be able to finish it in time!!! Guess we will see how good under pressure I can be while 6 months pregnant and not much time to work on a project like that without my hubby knowing about!!! Wish me luck!!!
